Aug 24, 2014: Today is TWO YEARS since we rescued Jax!  It's been quite a journey, and it often hasn't been easy, but he's such a LOVE! And he's come SO far and we are SO proud of him.  Jax (we named) was in a kill shelter in KY.  He didn't have much time left. I just look at this face and think: WHY!? Would someone beat him.  WHY would someone dump him (which, btw, was a very disgusting, filty place).  He's very happy now, and proud we could help him get there.  THIS PHOTO is the FIRST time Jax ever saw a Beach!  And he LOVES going to the Beach.  Well, he loves going ANYWHERE! haha, but, he really loves the Sea.  We're so happy he's a part of our family now, and that he's doing so well.  Don't buy, adopt!  These guys need us! I can't imagine Jaxon losing his life so young for a senseless reason!  I can't promise adopting will always be easy, sometimes they come from nightmare places... but I can promise you.... it'll be worth it! ~Hyde

FACIN' IT!

Why do people not like their "Crow's Feet"?
This is a sign of your JOY!  The times you laughed..
'Marks' of the happiness you had in your life up 'til now -- so much so, it left a mark for the World to see!
It adds character to your face, I think it's BEAUTIFUL!
It shows how beautiful you are inside...so much so, it couldn't contain.........
Smile, Laugh, Embrace!

Suffering

#RIPRobinWilliams

Often I think, after I pass... how would I like to be remembered? No joke. It crossed my mind, many, many times. It's changed my perspective on life, myself, the way I behave, who I am as a parent, a person...a stranger...... People call someone who "opts out" a coward. I don't remember Robin that way. How much strength one can endure, is a personal decision. Everyone deals with issues differently. We all grieve differently, as well. He was also sick... and did seek help. I see someone who carried some personal heavy burdens, perhaps.. but someone who brought so much f***in joy in our lives to be grateful for, so much love and happiness that came out of ONE person!! To MILLIONS of us!! Please do NOT judge a person by their last act, but by all their acts as a whole! Robin deserves much more than that! I can't believe some of the words I have read!!

Good, loving, people, .. artists, comedians.. entertainers, many are very sensitive, the bad part of being an artist - the very reason they are so good at what they do - is also their demon. Their heart is so big, and sometimes it carries the weight of the world. Judge not, but rather, be a good listener... support one another and learn from this. Sometimes when you're the strong one all the time for everyone else, everyone expects you to never need someone to be strong for you.

Goes a long way........

Do something kind for someone each day. You don't know what kind of difference you may have made for them, no matter how small the effort. What's small to you, may be huge for them.
