Just when I want to break down and cry;
Because you're so far,
You remind me how near you really are every day, more and more.

Just when I wanted to give up and not believe;
You came into my life,
And restored my faith in love, in someone else, and... myself.

And when the days grow long and tiring;
You bring laughter to me,
And for those bittersweet moments my spirit awakens anew.

Just when I thought inside of me most of which died;
And I had nothing left to give,
You showed me that someone still needed, desired, loved me.

Just when I felt that time caught up on me;
You made me feel young again,
A fountain of youth in love that no aesthetic remedy could ever compare.

Just as life delivered and continues to deliver bitterness;
You reach out your hand,
And collect every bit of anguish and cast it away from all around us.

Just when I thought the words of every sad song would be heard solely;
You played your music louder,
So I could hear your love across the world.

Just when I thought I'd never dance again;
You stepped in front of me, took my hand,
And led me home.
